Responding to Challenges

I have been asked to respond to this challenge with following conditions.

  • I have to start the hub with a sentence provided by my great hubber friend " Was it really only yesterday."
  • I have to use the picture prompt provided by him 'an image depicting A door to Nowhere'.

I can write whatever I want using the above two prompts leading to a good article with some reasonable sense about the subject matter of the Door leading to Nowhere.

See The Positive Side of Object Before Negativity Strikes You

I want to make people realize the need for seeing optimism and a ray of hope even in the most vulnerable situations. I want to say that there can be nothing like "The door to Nowhere". It is only a part of our negative thinking attitude and visualization of a one sided perception of the real circumstances or objects.

So, let me now start my presentation in proving that every door has many options and paths to follow and it depends on your choice and will power. Please bear with me in going through it and express your views on my presentation. Your views are of great value to me in increasing my writing styles.

Your Door to Happiness: Open it

"The Door to Nowhere"- they say. But, I tell you "Open the Door" and see how it can lead you to a Happier Life.

Here I Go

Was it really only yesterday?

Was it really only yesterday, that I came across phrases like this - The Door to Nowhere? No, it can't be. I have been hearing things like this since days, months and years long. I remember hearing it at my childhood. I remember hearing it at my teenage, even at my adolescence and all through my adulthood. And, even now, I often come across sayings like these: 'A Door to Nowhere' and 'A Path to Nowhere'.

Don't sit Depressed- There is Always Hope, A New Dawn

Be positive. Think positive and tell yourself: You are Stronger, You Can Do it, There is always A Door Open. A new Dawn awaiting you.

They say it is The Door to Nowhere

See "that is the Door to Nowhere" - they pinpoint to the door and say. But, how can there be a door and then, also at the same time, that which leads to nowhere? This perception itself is wrong and absurd. We say it is a Door. And then we are saying it leads to Nowhere. Is there any sense in this? Door always takes you somewhere. It may lead you into a beautiful room or it can land you into a place full of filth and shit. But it takes you somewhere. Is it wrong? Then how can we say it is A Door to Nowhere? So, the perception of 'The Door to Nowhere' itself is wrong.

Do you believe in a Door to Nowhere?

Our Perceptions Matter

When we are seeing some objects or incidents, we immediately try to frame some conclusions according to our perceptions, beliefs, and understanding capacities. We might have already experienced some similar circumstances or heard about similar occurrences taken place and our mental perception has been habituated to perceive and understand them in a particular way. So, it is most likely that whenever we come across such objects or events, we see them from that particular angle only. We may not feel the need to go into the depth of it and mostly begin to frame conclusions spontaneously.

Let us Mend our Attitudes

We need to mend and mold our thinking attitudes. If we see only the dark part of it, we will end up in saying that it is a door to Nowhere. But, who knows what is there on the other side of it? If we take some pains and strive with some patience to look into the depth of it, we may find it out to be a completely different thing or something better than that we have been perceiving till now.

For example, if we take some pain in opening the door and stepping out through the narrow lanes of darkness, removing the filth and hurdles with a little bit of patience and a sense of responsibility, then we may find ourselves standing in a beautiful path that the same door has lead us to. So, here with a little bit of effort, we are able to change the whole situation. The Door to Nowhere has now become a door to some beautiful path.

If we can think a little bit more positively and travel from the same door, making our path beautiful all through the time and for a little more distance, we may find our environment and experiences to be even more pleasant and can end up in a state of eternal bliss and happiness.

Here's a Story

There is a story in the video linked here.

The story of a tiger and a baby bear. The tiger finds the baby bear alone in a deserted valley and runs to catch and kill it. The cub spots the tiger and runs as fast as he can to escape from the tiger through the hills, valleys and by climbing on to trees to reach safer places during which act, the tree breaks and it fells into the deep waters of a dreadful running stream. Even then the cub does not lose hope and struggles hard to escape from the clutches of the tiger. See how the cub in the end finds her path to safety because of her continuous efforts and gets saved by her mother's presence there at the end of that utter hopeless destination.

From this story, we can learn how even the worst of all the worst circumstances can turn out to be blessings in disguise for us.

So, we should never lose hope till our last moment. Instead, we should strive hard and mend things and turn even the most dreadful circumstance also into favourable means of attaining blissful joy and happiness.
